Organization of Liberian Communities in Nigeria (OLICON) Mission To promote the unity, solidarity and cohesion of Liberians living within the borders of Nigeria Motto Proudly Liberians! Administrative Headquarters Maintained in the city and state of the residence of the National President. At the time of the 2026 Convention souvenir programme, the Administrative Headquarters was located in Jos, Plateau State. Coverage The jurisdiction of the organization covers the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with four recognized regions: Eastern Region, Western Region, Northern Region, and South-South Region. Emblem The emblem of the organization is the flags of Liberia and Nigeria in a heart, with a handshake. Liberia’s flag (red, white and blue) appears on the left side of the heart and Nigeria’s flag (green and white) on the right, with the handshake beneath the flags and within the heart. The heart signifies love; the flags signify friendship, peace and unity between the two countries; the handshake represents unity amongst Liberians residing in Nigeria. Colours The official colours of the organization are red, white, blue and green. White and blue symbolize unity, peace and solidarity; green represents existence in Nigeria as a community; red represents determination and sacrifice for the progress of the community.
